Testimonials
What are my students saying about my classes?
I never thought I’d find a workout that combined music, movement, and meditation, but SambaWave Drumming Classes has been a game-changer for me!
The infectious rhythms and Gustavo as an instructor made me feel like I was part of a vibrant community.
Not only did I improve my coordination and rhythm, but I also reduced stress and boosted my mood.
Can’t recommend it enough!
Being an amazing musician doesn’t always mean being great at teaching, but that is the case with Gustavo no doubt!
He is both a tasteful bodhran player and an experienced, passionate teacher.
Thanks to his method, it took only one year for me to climb from absolute zero up to the level of playing comfortably in any trad session in Galway. He tailored the training course for my specific skill level and learning ability, covering technique, speed, stamina, and sound.
He even managed to find the time to share insights about the history and the evolution of the instrument, as well as how to properly tune and do maintenance.
Easy recommendation!
Excellent teacher, excellent teaching methods and very consistent with the class proposals.
For him, the world is pure rhythm and he brings this vision to the teaching context!
